In 2009, the presentation of the Fine Arts Awards and the Artisan Awards will be combined in one event to be held on Tuesday, November 10 at 12pm. This invitation-only event will take place at Events NSW in Sydney.
The ARIA Fine Arts Awards recognise excellence in the genres of Classical, Jazz, World Music and Soundtracks. The 2009 Fine Arts Awards will be presented on Tuesday, November 10.

The Artisan Awards represent the categories of Best Cover Art, Best Video, Engineer of the Year and Producer of the Year. In 2009, these awards will be handed out in conjunction with the Fine Arts Awards on Tuesday, November 10.
As well as complying with the general eligibility criteria, recordings must also meet the requirements specific to each award category.
