Information for Industry Ticket holders
With the ARIA Awards just days away, please note the following regarding limousine, taxi and coach drop-offs for industry ticket holders at Acer Arena, departures from Acer Arena to the after-show party, and drop-offs at Ivy.
Drop-offs at Acer Arena
As in past years there are two entry points to the Red Carpet, which is expected to open at 3.30pm.
1. Entry for nominees, presenters, performers and other VIPs is at the top of the Red Carpet on Olympic Boulevard, which is open only to limousines displaying vehicle passes. Passes can be requested by contacting Event Publicist Rina Ferris (ariaawards@ferrisdaviesprm.com.au). Whilst all guests may enter through this point, we encourage non-nominees/non-presenters etc to enter via the second entrance (see next point) to avoid a bottleneck around the media and photographer pits.
2. All other industry guests can also access the Red Carpet via the entry points located half-way along the Red Carpet. The closest drop-off point for this entrance for taxis, coaches and limousines is the corner of Olympic Boulevard and Edwin Flack Avenue. Vehicle passes are not required for this drop-off point.
Remember that you guests must wear or show their Gold, Platinum or Silver pass to access the Red Carpet entry.
Pick-ups from Acer Arena
To ensure speedy and safe departures for guests heading to the after-party at Ivy, please inform your drivers that the following pick-up locations apply.
- Limousines and hire cars may wait on both sides of Olympic Boulevard.
- Premium-service taxis may wait on Kevin Coombs Avenue near the corner of Olympic Boulevard.
- Normal taxis may wait on Edwin Flack Avenue near the corner of Olympic Boulevard
- The holding area for coaches is directly outside Acer Arena on Olympic Boulevard.
Vehicle passes are not required for post-event pick-ups. Note that the ARIA Awards is expected to conclude around 9.30pm but may be later due to the nature of live television. We recommend you have the mobile number of your driver(s) with you so you can locate them on the night. Please also advise your guests to take care when departing Acer Arena as the area will be extremely busy with vehicle movements.
A map of the Sydney Olympic Park precinct can be downloaded from the Acer Arena page of this website.
After-show Party drop-offs at Ivy, 330 George St (nr Palings Lane), Sydney.
The after-party will run 10pm-4am. All vehicles - limousines, coaches and taxis - may drop guests on George Street. Again, the venue will be very busy with traffic so please exercise caution.
REMINDER: access to the after-party is strictly for industry guests wearing the wristband that will be included with industry tickets. Lost wristbands are unable to be replaced under any circumstances.
